Local events

Oneonta World of Learning (OWL) has become known for collaborating with local organizations to bring fantastic, family friendly events to the Oneonta area.

Over the past two years, OWL has presented events almost monthly. The largest event by far is the Ice Cream Social. On the first Sunday in June, families gather in Wilber Park for free icecream, entertainment, and hands-on children's activities. We've also partnered with The Science Discovery Center on the SUNY Oneonta Campus to bring Science Saturdays to life in the fall and early spring. However, our signature event is Paintfest! featuring fun and unpredictable ways to paint, presented in November.
