Spend a day investigating archaeology with Oneonta World of Learning!
Dig Dirt Day is Friday, June 12, from noon-5PM at
Hartwick College's Pine Lake Environmental Campus, 1894 Charlotte Creek Road, Oneonta.
There will be ongoing activities all day; parents of school-aged children are invited to join the fun for the last couple of hours.
Participants will learn about human pre-history, fossils, artifacts, and more.
Guided tours of the on-going Hartwick archeological dig will be held hourly, on the half hour, from 12:30-4:30.

Dress for a mess and for water activities!
The swimming area will be closed, but participants can use Pine Lake's boats (bring your children's life jackets).
The cost is $5 per child ($2.50 for OWL members), free for children under 12 months.
This biennial event is a collaborative effort between OWL, Hartwick College, and SUNY Oneonta,
with special thanks to the Greater Oneonta Historical Society.
